Submit this form to request an adjustment to your previously accepted loan assistance.

If reducing or canceling your loans, We will process the change and send the funds back to the lender on your behalf. Note: Reducing or cancelling a loan after it has disbursed may result in a balance on your account. All amounts should be gross amounts before origination fees are removed.

To calculate the gross loan amount, divide a Direct unsubsidized loan amount by .9894 (i.e. if you want $10,142 of your direct unsub to be removed from your account, the gross loan amount would be $10,250). For PLUS loans, divide by .9577.
